Accommodations Transportation On-site Logistics Cancellation Policy

The Frontiers of Business Conference will be hosted at The Carolina Inn, a landmark Chapel Hill hotel near UNC.   

A mainstay of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill campus for more than 95 years, The Carolina Inn offers refined southern hospitality in a historic setting. The Inn is a short walk to the medical center, football stadium, basketball arena, and charming Franklin Street. 

Accommodations

The Kenan Institute’s room block at The Carolina Inn has closed, however there may still be availability by contacting the hotel directly.  The Carolina Inn may be reached by calling (800) 617.0131 or visiting their website here.

Transportation

The local airport is the Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU), approximately 15 minutes away from Chapel Hill. 

Rental car services and ground travel options are available from the airport, including taxi, Uber, and Lyft.

Parking

Parking at The Carolina Inn is $10 per car, per day for self-parking and valet and $20 per car, overnight.

Cancellation Policy

Please contact Kenan Institute Program Manager Sydney Bannerman at Sydney_Bannerman@kenan-flagler.unc.edu regarding cancellations and/or refunds.

The conference registration fee is fully refundable up to 45 days prior to the first day of the event. 50% of the registration fee is refundable up to 15 days prior to the first day of the event. Refunds are not available for cancellations made within two weeks of the event date.
